Why do the colors vary?

The intensity of the color change in these lenses depends on both the temperature and ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. Here's what you need to know:

• Temperature Matters: The higher the temperature. the less intense the color change will be.
• Seasonal Changes: Because of the temperature factor. you'll notice that the lenses change to a darker color in winter and are lighter in summer.
• Optimal Performance: These lenses perform best and show the most vibrant color changes at temperatures between 23-28°C (73-82°F).

Quick Test: If you expose these lenses to boiling water. they will instantly turn colorless. This experiment demonstrates that high temperatures cause the lenses to lose their color.

Outdoor Use in Summer: During summer. the high outdoor temperatures and UV radiation cause the lens to both change and fade in color simultaneously.
